2. Hosting and server log files

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the pages, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically, such as IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system. This serves the secure, fast and stable delivery of the website and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Cloudflare processes this data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

3. No analytics or advertising tools, no external fonts

I do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising tools on this website. Fonts and images are loaded directly from this website, not from third parties.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact me by email or phone, I process your details (for example name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Emails are received via Gmail, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Links to YouTube and Digistore24

This website contains simple links to my YouTube channels and to the purchase of the e-books on Digistore24. Videos are not embedded here. Only when you click a link are you taken to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) or Digistore24 (Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany), where their privacy policies apply.

Preview images of the latest episode are fetched from YouTube server-side by this website and delivered from its own address. Simply visiting this website therefore does not transmit any data from your browser to YouTube.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

7. Right to lodge a complaint
